Woke up in a daze, just looking at these iconic art pieces, in our favorite Louis Vuitton bags. Jeff Koons, renowned artist, was tapped by Louis Vuitton, and have decided to make the works of many European artists, from Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, to Van Gogh’s A Wheatfield with Cypresses in our favorite Louis Vuitton bags, beloved staples Speedy, Neverfull, KeepAlls and contemporary favorites such as the Palm Springs, and Chain Bags. For the practical collector, don’t forget to check the limited edition Zippy Wallets!

These art bags are canvas, with calf leather trimmings, and sheep skin interiors. Each bag is marked with foiled text and decorated pockets that scream luxury and history in your handbag.

It’s extremely exciting to see color matched hardware, (pinks, blues, reds, etc) that closely matches the varying, bright, leather colors, and the accompanying artwork it holds. The only thing odd about are the diamond/flora tabs in the handles. But perhaps that’s just me.

When it comes to bags, I sometimes feel like I look forward to Louis Vuitton‘s men’s show more than its show for women. Don’t get me wrong—the women’s bags put out by Nicolas Ghesquiere’s team are always a seasonal highlight for me, but men’s designer Kim Jones has a particular way of melding the brand’s signatures with a particular sort of sportiness that makes everything feel fresh, casual and easy to integrate into a wardrobe.

One of my favorite things about Jones’ men’s bags has been his use of color beyond the traditional chocolate and tan of the Louis Vuitton monogram, specifically his mixtures of black, grey and various shades of blue. The brand new Louis Vuitton Monogram Split print, which Jones debuted on his Spring 2018 runway in Paris last week, is the latest in this line of experiments. As you might imagine, the inspiration for the name comes from how the print looks on the bag.

Ghesquiere has played with inverting the traditional colors of the LV monogram in his women’s bags and then using both combinations in the same piece, and here Jones is doing something similar with the Monogram Eclipse color scheme he created: the motifs are the same color in each part of the print, but the background is different, half light and half dark. It’s a lot of logo, but the sporty finishes make that feel appropriate—after all, streetwear’s influence on recent fashion has brought about a full-scale resurgence of the major logo bag. Minimalists will hate it, but Louis Vuitton has never been for them anyway.

Monogram Split will be available in Louis Vuitton stores in about six months.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the cutest bag of them all. Well, the Louis Vuitton Pochette Felicie Bag is certainly one of them as it has been around for some time. But just recently, this mini evening companion is refined in Epi Leather, which creates a complete new experience.

If you look at the Pochette Felicie Bag, it’s certainly true when people say that small things can create a huge impact. This is a clutch bag, but it functions like a medium-sized handbag. The front is designed with an envelope-like flap – beautiful in triangle style. The center is made with a press-stud closure and it comes with a removable silver chain.

This bag is much more than just a wallet; it can be used as a clutch or converted into a glamorous shoulder bag. Carry it from day to night, from work to the evening gala.

The original Louis Vuitton Pochette Felicie Bag was made in monogram canvas. But for the modern woman, she will opt into the Epi Leather, which looks so bright and fresh. And if that’s not enough to brag, the LV signature has been charmly embellished on the bottom side of the bag.
