When Celine announced the release of the Big Bag in the Spring 2018 Collection, we immediately jumped into the creme the la creme and wrote the Celine Big Bag Review.

However, what we didn’t do is talk about the Celine Big Bag Bucket, which was actually not that ‘Big’ at all. In fact, it can be recognized as the small version of the Big Bag line.

The Big Bag Bucket has a different structure, because it’s made for a different reason. The larger Big Bag can only be carried by hand or on the shoulder thanks to the curvy handle. Now let’s unveal the Big Bag Bucket, shall we?

The Design

The Big Bucket Bag is made with smooth calfskin and has a thin shape. And the thin body is perfect because it’s lighter in weight and can be easier to carry on the shoulder or cross body (which is what this bag is made for).

The Big Bucket Bag looks strong and feels very durable plus luxurious. The bottom is printed with the house’s logo in small lettering that reads: ‘Celine Paris’.

The top is crafted with a functional leather belt tightening to close the bag. The belt is also made to look glamorous as it’s part of the overall design.

More over, there is no handle but there is a long leather strap of 19 inch (49 cm) drop for shoulder carry or cross-body. This leather strap cannot be adjusted or removed.

The Interior

Take a look of the inside of the bag, there is one main compartment including an inside flat pocket.

A totally new bag Made In Tote from Celine’s Pre-Fall 2018 Collection, which comes in three sizes and two materials (leather and textile), both bearing a large version of the Céline logo and origin stamp that’s usually found in tiny gold print on the brand’s leather bags. The totes are simple and unsubtle, and they feel like both a clear statement of what the brand stands for and a perfectly loud logo piece that fits what much of fashion’s elite wants right now. So maybe I was wrong, maybe it is a bang. The medium size and small size are available on my site.
